Joanne Mathisen
Partner
Joanne has held her Colorado CPA license since 1995. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Northern Arizona University. Her prior experience was with a regional firm in Wyoming and 23 years with a local firm. Joanne specializes in providing tax services and estate planning to individuals and works with small and medium sized closely held businesses. She works with a variety of businesses including agriculture, manufacturing, and investments. Joanne is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA) When not working Joanne enjoys golfing, hiking, and skiing. She has a passion for travel and learning about other cultures.
Melinda Brewer
Partner
Melinda has been a CPA in Colorado since 1990 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado. Melinda’s 32 years of professional experience includes tax manager at Ernst & Young and 16 years at a local CPA firm. Melinda specializes in providing tax services to individuals, small and medium businesses, and non-profit organizations. Melinda is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA). When not working Melinda enjoys spending time with family enjoying all the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer, camping, hiking, and fishing.
Alison Pflieger
Partner
Alison has been a CPA in Colorado since 2000. She holds Master of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Colorado. Her prior professional experience includes over 14 years with a focus on audit and financial reporting at PricewaterhouseCoopers and a local CPA firm and over 12 years with a focus on tax, most recently as a tax manager at a local CPA firm. Alison specializes in providing tax services to individuals and small to medium businesses. Alison’s professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA) and she also participates in various business and civic community activities. When not working, Alison enjoys volunteering, time with family, enjoying the great outdoors and working with animals.
